Threatening Youth Football League Officials in Letters and putting Names on Bullets Results in Jail Time

From the “you can’t make this stuff up” category, a man and woman have been convicted for threatening officials of a Pennsylvania youth football league.

One dad got angry in 2015 at the Mt. Pleasant Area Junior Football League (supporting players ages 6-14) for increasing weight limits on teams. Joseph Loughner, 52, was worried smaller players would get hurt. In protest, he sent threatening letters to football officials.
